‘Credit Agricole’ , ‘Credit Mutuel de Bretagne’
and ‘Caisse Epargne’ are popular banks in Brittany.
In general, banks are open daily from 9am to 12noon
and 2pm to 5pm except on Saturday afternoons,
Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays.
The banks of Plumeliau, Pontivy or Baud can
exchange your travellers’s cheques but
Traveller's cheques in euros ‘American Express’ or ‘Visa’
can be exchanged in the French post office too.
Cash automatic dispensers are usually outside the banks.
You can withdraw euros with your credit card
‘Eurocard MasterCard’ or ‘Visa International’ from them.
