RESTAURANTS IN BRITTANY

Brittany is renowned for the quality and the variety of its seafood.
Shellfish and fish are always excellent. Belon or Concarneau oysters have a great reputation in France.
Lobster, crab or langoustines are often served with the rich hot sauce "armoricaine" which is a speciality of Brittany. It is succulent!
Try also the famous trout served with white butter 'beurre blanc' an other speciality of Brittany.
The white wine "muscadet sur lie" is the only wine of Brittany with the "gros plant". To drink with seafood.
There are many excellent restaurants situated in Morbihan (2 restaurants at St Nicholas des Eaux) which offer an excellent choice of seafood, gastonomic menu and french wines.
Restaurants in Morbihan are open for dinner at around 7pm and stay open until 11pm. Restaurants are often closed on Sunday evening except in high touristic season
Lunch is generally served between 12noon and 2pm.
Don't forget to taste the other specialties of Bretagne :
The "kouing-aman, the "far breton" and the "gateau breton" are delicious with a glass of "chouchen"!
